How to Win the Battle with the Haters or a Bully

Hey Guys!!

I am going to give my advice on how to deal with haters or bullies through my experiences.

  1. DO NOT FIGHT WITH THEM IN ANY WAY. It only antagonizes them and they feed off of you fighting back.
  2. REPORT THEM. Whether it be in school or on social media, REPORT THEM for bullying and harassment.
  3. BLOCK THEM. Get them out of your sight. That way they won't have any contact with you.
  4. DELETE THEM. Get rid of their comments.
If any of those don't keep them from staying away from you, then you can step in and settle it yourself. If the police need to be brought into it, then bring them in. Law enforcement is always there to help you in any need.

I hope theses tips help.

How To Prepare For School

Hey Guys!

I know I posted yesterday, but I've realized that I gave advice on a school related project without giving advice about school. So here I am to give you advice on how to prepare for school.

  1. Know what classes you have signed up for. If you are in middle school or high school, know what you signed up for in the spring of the previous year (in elementary, it's what teacher you have). If not, wait until open house.
  2. Don't wait on getting the simple school supplies until you start school, do it when the "Back-to-School" sales start. Get the simple stuff early so you aren't waiting for Walmart to stock up on stuff.
  3. GO TO OPEN HOUSE!! No lie, just go to it. Get your schedule, make the necessary changes at open house rather than waiting to go see your guidance counselors the first day of school about your messed up schedule, meet the teachers who are not regularly on your schedule so you can get their syllabus (with the teacher that you've had before, you already know what to expect and what to get).
  4. After open house is when you can determine what's left that you need for school supplies.
  5. Once you get ALL of your school supplies, you can organize it, put it in your backpack, and be ready for the first day of school.
NOTE: Walmart and other stores usually have printed out lists of what certain teachers from certain schools want their kids to have for school supplies. So it make's it easier for families to school shop. Also, there might be a "tax-free-on-all-school-supplies" day, but that varies on where you are.

Also, you might want new clothes for school, so get those as well.

I hope you get a bunch of useful tips from this!! DON'T BE NERVOUS!!

How to Pack for a Trip

Hey Guys!

Sorry for not posting last week, I had gone on a trip to Connecticut. Speaking of trips, this weeks topic is about help and tips for packing for a trip.

  1. Plan your trip so you know when you're going, how long it's going to be, when you're coming back, what you're going to do on the trip, what kind of transportation are you taking, and which season it's going to be in. The reason being, is you do want to have to pack winter clothes if your trip is going to be summer and you need to know how and what to pack.
  2. Start thinking of what to pack and how you're going to pack it. TIP: Try to pack AS LIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE. There is limited space in the type of transportation you're scheduled to take. Pack the correct amount of clothes, shoes, toiletries, medication, foods/drinks/snacks, and other needed items. For instance, DON'T pack any toiletries (IE: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, large tube of toothpaste, deodorant, face wash, etc.) if you're traveling by plane. Security will confiscate any fluids or pastes over a couple of ounces (for safety reasons). But if you're taking train or car, you can bring a small toiletries bag. TIP: if you're taking Amtrak, try to only take ONE suitcase AND carry on, but each person is allowed to have 2 carry ons. SUGGESTION: if you don't have a small toiletries bag, then get a 75 linear inch (or smaller) suitcase that has pockets and wheels so you can pack you're toiletries and other needed items, and take a backpack (preferably JanSport) that has the maximum amount of pockets possible for you to pack other needed things for entertainment and other sorts (if you're taking Amtrak).
  3. Make sure that what you plan to bring actually bring cam fit into the limited space that you have comfortably. TIP: IF THE EXTRANEOUS ITEM DOES NOT FIT, DO NOT TAKE IT.
  4. Have an outfit picked out for the day you leave, make sure you packed everything you NEED(ED) (even if you have to make a checklist) packed, and make sure you have you're tickets or whatever and I.D. to check in.

TIP: If you have to get or need something that you couldn't bring on the trip, you can go and get it somewhere when you get to your destination.

I hope I helped out a bunch, and I'm sorry if I forgot something or even stated the obvious, I covered what I could for those who needed the help.
